Art, culture and nature in the virtual tours of Terre Borromeo
Terre Borromeo invites you to discover all the charm of the beautiful sites overlooking Lago Maggiore, thanks to the virtual tours. The idea of opening the doors of the locations to the public, to share the art, culture and the spectacle of nature online, came about during the lockdown.
The virtual tours are available among the “stories” on Instagram and Facebook and will remain online from now on among the highlighted stories.
After Isola Bella, with the visit to Palazzo Borromeo, with its magnificent rooms, works of art and unique architectural treasures such as the grottos, and Isola Madre, marked by bright colours and exotic perfumes, amid blossoming flowers and rare plants, the virtual tour is continuing to the Parco Pallavicino, which reopened on 4 May. A green oasis of 18 hectares located in Stresa, which hosts over 50 species of mammals and birds and a botanical garden with centuries-old trees and blooming flowers to admire, in this period when they are at their most splendid.
In Vitaliano Borromeo’s words: “With this initiative we have given a small foretaste of the artistic, cultural and tourism offer of Terre Borromeo for the 2020 season. From Monday 18 May it will finally be possible to see our innovations live and return to physically exploring the beauties of the Italian territory, respecting the safety rules”.
The virtual tour will continue subsequently at the other locations: Rocca di Angera and Parco del Mottarone.
