For Isole Borromee, Rocca di Angera, Parco Pallavicino goodbye till next spring
The Isole Borromee, Rocca di Angera and Parco Pallavicino will reopen their access gates on Friday 20 March with a brand new activities offer for the visitors.
However, the Terre Borromee team is not going on holiday! In the months of the closure there will be various restoration and conservation activities under way involving the rich artistic and botanical heritage of all the locations.
On the horizon, there are many initiatives that can already be glimpsed, which will be protagonists of the calendar of events for the next season.
A few foretastes? At Palazzo Borromeo, on Isola Bella, an exhibition devoted to Vitaliano VI, founder of the island, will be inaugurated, with works by Salomon Adler and Luigi Vanvitelli.
The rooms of the Ala Scaligera, in the enchanting castle of Angera, will host the third edition of the contemporary art exhibition, with artists of international renown and the collaboration of a well-known Italian gallery.
Finally, Isola Madre will not cease to amaze, presenting itself again for the new season in its most radiant form, with the blossoming flowers and exotic species of its garden, perfumes and rare plants.
Notification of the details and further information on the 2020 tourism proposal of Terre Borromeo will be given during the coming months.
