Mottarone Adventure Park, every day a mountain of excitement

Starting today, the Mottarone Adventure Park opens every day of the week. This is a fully equipped area for entertaining those big and small inside the Park of the Mottarone in Stresa. There are plenty of sports and leisure activities to try with friends and family inside the regenerating setting of the woods on the mountain of the seven lakes. Just an hour from Milan, from here you can enjoy views as far as the eye can see over the lakes between the provinces of Verbania and Novara.

The Mottarone Adventure Park has adventure routes suitable for children (from 3 years of age) and adults, with various levels of difficulty for an experience of pure fun amid the lianas, nets, bridges and the Tarzan jump. It’s an attraction that guarantees adrenaline-filled experiences in total safety, thanks to the continuous lifeline system, fitted with a special carabiner ensuring constant attachment, and to the equipment with harness and helmet.

It is also the ideal place to try tree climbing and the benefits that direct contact with nature through this gives you. The more competitive among you will not be able to resist challenging friends to see who can climb the highest: the equipment, suitable also for children aged 5 and over, is characterised by three levels of difficulty and maximum reachable heights from 7.5 to 13 metres. Thanks to the magnetic grippers, the system releases the rope at a reduced speed, avoiding any tearing and guaranteeing total safety.

In the park, the Baby Adventure Park has two routes, each with 15 and 16 exercises including bridges, walkways, ladders and inclined walls to test your attitude to the exploration of nature from a tender age. The Net Experience play area, for children aged from 3 a 12, is composed of routes in which the nets (3 metres high) connect the trees with the platforms where two boxes have been fitted to stimulate play.

Those who prefer relaxing walks on the peak and excursions by bike, mountain bike or e-bike can hire their wheels at the Bar Stazione, where, in addition to the ticket-office service for the Adventure Park, a dining service is also available for snacks, aperitifs, lunches with sandwiches and salad, or for a tasty open-air grill.

For true gourmets or sporty people who fancy a well deserved gourmet break to recover their energy on top of the Mottarone, on its menu the Ristorante Rifugio Genziana offers the typical dishes of the Val d’Ossola, such as polenta Beura in the pasticciata, gratinata or zola versions. To be enjoyed outdoors, on a sunny day, on the terrace overlooking Monte Rosa.

To reach the Mottarone Adventure Park in Stresa, follow the road in the direction Gignese-Mottarone and by going along the Strada Privata Borromea you reach your destination two kilometres after going through the tollgate.
