The opening of the 2024 season is scheduled from 16 March to 3 November 2024.

Isola Bella and Isola Madre are open:

From 16th March to 26th October
Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., last entrance. Palace closes at 05:30 p.m., gardens close at 06:00 p.m.
From 27th October to 3rd November
Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m., last entry. Palace closes at 04:30 p.m., gardens close at 05:00 p.m.

Parco Pallavicino is open:

From 16th March to 26th October
Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., last entrance. The park closes at 06:00 p.m.
From 27th October to 3rd November
Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m., last entry. The park closes at 05:00 p.m.

Rocca di Angera is open:

From 16th March to 26th October
Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., last entrance. The castle closes at 06:00 p.m.
From 27th October to 3rd November
Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m., last entry. The castle closes at 05:00 p.m.

The opening and closing time of museums and gardens are subject to changes for extraordinary events.

Valutato come il dipinto più prezioso nell`inventario di casa dopo la morte di Giberto V Borromeo nel 1837, ha attirato l`attenzione di Bernard Berenson nel 1904.

Il dipinto è composto da colori squillanti tra aranci, rossi e viola, l`utilizzo di quinte architettoniche utili a conferire dignità monumentale alla scena e la definizione atmosferica del paesaggio.

L`artista Paris Bordon, attivo a Milano tra il 1548 e il 1551, è stato apprezzato dai collezionisti locali anche dopo la sua morte, come documentato dalla raccolta Borromeo.
